A few other parts of MM that are currently finished are the matrix & the monitor (containing more than 25,000 scores
and covering some
7,500 different whiskies at the moment) as well as the Malt Maniacs Awards department with details of our competitions in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Both can be found in the office section of this new site. I'll focus mostly on transferring our archive section over the coming months, but managed to add a nifty new feature to the bar section already. The MM MaltMenu provides an easy overview of over a hundred widely available official bottlings, the kind you might find in... a bar. Join the mailinglist if you want to stay updated on events.
Check out the 'Good News / Bad News' box on the Malt Maniacs home page for news on recent additions to the web site.
Enjoy!

Another relatively fresh addition to the library is a revised Lex-icon; our overview of all malt
whisky distilleries in the whole wide world, maintained by our own
professor of Xenomaltology;
Dr. Lex Kraaijeveld. At the moment we have both a HTML and PDF version of the Lex-icon; we
may combine these versions later on.
More extensive
details for the distilleries in Scotland can be found in the Distillery Data section
on Malt Madness; detailed profiles on every malt whisky distillery in Scotland with details about its history, its production regime and tasting notes on at least half a dozen different expressions.
More 'dossiers' will be added to the library later - but that will take a few more months....
The MM Library is the place for quiet study and reflection. While The Archive contains
every issue of our E-zine that we've published so far, this library offers a selection
of web pages and PDF files designed to increase the knowledge and appreciation
of single malt whisky - Scotch, Irish, Japanese and others.
The certified malt maniacs are dedicated to learning about single malt whisky
and sharing their knowledge and perspectives with other malt lovers around
the world. However, we don't have all the answers; it doesn't hurt to pick up
a book every once in a while. Our Book Reviews could help you choose one.
Like most other parts of the new Malt Maniacs website, this
section is still 'under reconstruction'. That being said, we've
already managed to draw up an 'official document' with our
guiding
principles; the Malt Maniacs Manifesto. It should
give everybody a clear idea about the ideals of the maniacs.
