While the archive offers a full overview of the well over 1000 E-pistles we've written
since 1997, this
page is dedicated to all the articles that were published in 2008.
Shortly before we published the end results of the Malt Maniacs Awards 2007 on
December 1 we kicked off our public Malt Maniacs & Friends group on Facebook.
Less than a year later, we already had circa 800 virtual friends. Many or them
are still 'lurkers' that haven't joined in our disussions yet - but hopefully they'll
join in those some time soon as well. One unexpected side-effect of adding
the Facebook Group to our set of 'communication instruments' was a drop in
the number of E-pistles that was submitted - but that's to be expected...
Apart from the archive section, the information we've gathered during A Decade of Heavy Dramming
is divided across four site sections; the Library, the office (containing everything related to numbers,
like the MM Awards section, the Malt Maniacs Matrix and the Malt Maniacs Monitor),
our cosy hang-out
called the bar (a place to discuss new whiskies and the latest whisky news) and the locals section.
